Coach Kelsey

Kelsey Galaviz is a native of Camden County. Kelsey and her husband Jimmy are the proud parents of Mia and Eowyn. Kelsey started cheerleading at the age of three as a mascot for the recreation league. She continued recreational cheerleading until seventh grade where she cheered for the Camden Middle School Cougars and in eighth grade for the Mary Lee Clark Bobcats. Kelsey attended Camden County High School where she was a Wildcat cheerleader all four years, and served as both captain and co-captain. After high school, Kelsey attended Georgia Military College and received her Associate of Science in Education and then Troy State University where she received her Bachelor's of Science in Social Science. Kelsey began her coaching career in 2000 as a recreation cheerleading coach for the Camden County Recreation Department cheerleading program, and taught summer camps for recreational and middle school cheerleaders at the Camden County Recreation Center. After two years of coaching for the recreation league, Kelsey saw the need and desire for cheerleaders to train and compete more than one season out of the year, and founded the Cheer Camden All Stars. Kelsey is a NCSSE  master level  safety certified cheer coach, and is  USASF certified coach in stunts, baskets and tumbling for levels one through five.  

Coach Kristi

Kristi Perkins is a native to St. Marys. She is married to Adam and they have three children: Winter, Willow, and Walker. The family are active members of Point Peter Baptist church. Kristi started cheering at age of two and continued through middle school and high school. Kristi was co-captain of Camden County High School's first ever competitive cheerleading team in 1994. Kristi attended Shorter College in Rome, Georgia, and is a nationally certified cheerleading coach by the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors. Kristi began coaching in 1999 for the Camden County Recreational Department cheerleading program. Kristi coached four years for the recreational cheerleading program, and assisted with the Cheer Camden All Stars from its inception.  Kristi is  USASF certified coach in stunts, baskets, and tumbling in levels one through five. 

Coach Jimmy

Jimmy Galaviz was born in Virginia and grew up a Navy child. By the grace of God, his dad was transferred to Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base in 1989. Jimmy began playing soccer at four. He played for Brandon Junior High School and later for Camden County High School. He also played football his senior year. After high school, Jimmy went to Great Lakes, Illinois to fulfill his obligation to the United States Naval Reserves. Jimmy attended Valdosta State University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Art in History. Before coaching cheerleading, Jimmy coached swimming, softball, football, and soccer. He is the conditioning coach and assists with the day to day operations for all squads.
