SIXTEEN TIME NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
Cheer Camden is dedicated to building Christian character through cheerleading. The goal of our program is to teach the importance of teamwork and group effort while providing healthy exercise and wholesome social interaction. Camden All-Stars is a year round competitive cheerleading program that travels to 6-8 competitions annually. Cheer Camden held its first two practices in December 2002 with a total of eight members by the end of January the enrollment doubled. These 16 girl attended 2 competitions in the Spring of 2003. The following August Cheer Camden held registration again and consisted of 32 members on the Junior and Pee Wee teams. These two teams attended four competitions, including Spirit Cheer Nationals held at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. Following the completion of its first full season, Cheer Camden enrolled more than 50 cheerleaders after its third open registration. Having both a Junior and Pee Wee squad Cheer Camden was excited to add a Mini-Pee Wee squad for Kindergarten through Second grade in its third season. The 2004-2005 Season was an enormous success. At registration there were six cheerleaders who could do a standing back handspring or more, and by our last competition there were over 20 with back handsprings and eight with round off back tucks. The hard work of all the squad members helped bring home 24 trophies including seven 1st place honors. The 2005-2006 season has been our best ever. Our three teams brought home a combined 7 National Championship titles that season. Making that season our most successful ever. In March of 2006 Cheer Camden moved into a new facility. The Cheer Camden training center provides us with the opportunity to expand our program. Cheer Camden is offering tumbling classes and will be adding new teams including a Special Olympics team and a dance team for the upcoming 2008-2009 season.
